I received my BFA in General Studio Art with concentrations in Drawing, Interior Design, Photography, and Ceramics and later my MAT in Art from Winthrop University. I taught art, ceramics, and photography in public school for twelve years before leaving to focus on my own artistic development. 
Currently I am still teaching classes and workshops within the surrounding communities with more time for creating on my own. The focus of my artwork has been mainly in ceramics but I still enjoy working in a variety of mediums.
